Where it started

Adviser-Store is the brainchild of ClientsFirst who are based in the North West and specialise in working with professional advisory firms. Drawing on their considerable experience in the financial services sector, in 2015 they decided to launch an online store for advisers, to make it easier for IFAs to get access to the very best in marketing, compliance, technical documentation and other areas.

Whatever material you are looking for, from email marketing solutions to paraplanning support or technical documentation, Adviser-Store makes it easy for advisers to find material developed specifically with their business in mind. We work with industry-leaders in the financial space including threesixty, Para-Sols and The Lang Cat.

  • We approached Jenny and the Adviser-Store team about helping us produce a video to promote our new-look Truth Software. We’d got our own thoughts on what it should look like and what we wanted to say. We thought it would be as simple as that, and they’d make it. Were we wrong?! They wanted to get right under our skin and understand the myths we wanted dispelled, the messages we wanted reinforced and the benefits of what was new. They suggested an animated video, which we hadn’t even considered, but seemed so appropriate for a marketing message, as our software changes so rapidly. They produced a scripted storyboard for us to go back and forth on, before getting to work on a concept video. They kept us informed about each scene and we’d approve or suggest tweaks, which were well received. With the video looking good, they helped us choose appropriate mood background music and a selection of actors’ voices for the narration to really polish it off. We felt like we were in safe-experienced hands along the whole journey. They listened, challenged our ideas, and made it all happen on time and on budget. Since then, we’ve used them to make dozens more videos for us. They really understand us as a firm and have since made for us a whole suite of videos that follow a consistent theme.
